GPS Law now offers complimentary Notary Public Services in addition to our representation of clients in matters involving personal injury, estate planning, probate, real estate & labor law. There is no fee or client obligation required for notarization. No appointment necessary - Walk-ins welcome at the Hamden office, but call ahead is recommended. East Haven Office is by appointment only.
About Our Notary Services
A notary appointed under Connecticut law is a notary for the entire state and may perform his/her duties anywhere within the state and has the power to administer oaths and take acknowledgments.
*The Executive Order of Governor Ned Lamont authorizing the use of remote notarization expired on July 1, 2021. Remote notarization is no longer authorized under Connecticut law.*
The firm’s notary public will verify your identity and must witness you signing the document(s).
*Do not sign or date your documents in advance*
What to Bring
- A valid government issued photo ID (Driver’s license, Passport, Military ID, State ID Card)
- The entire document to be notarized (not just the signature page)
