MICHAEL G. Prior to forming Charapp& Weiss, LLP, Mr. Charapp was General Counsel for Geneva Management, Inc. for approximately twelve years.  Geneva Management, Inc. operated and managed dozens of various auto dealerships and franchises.   As General Counsel, Mr. Charapp handled diverse matters relating to risk management, corporate and commercial matters, employment issues, financial transactions, and litigation.  Prior to serving as General Counsel, Mr. Charapp was a trial attorney at the law firm Stein, Mitchell &Mezines, LLP for approximately ten years.  At Stein, Mitchell &Mezines, LLP, Mr. Charapp worked with Jake Stein, a nationally-known trial attorney.  There, Mr. Charapp litigated and tried white collar criminal cases, medical malpractice cases, and complex civil litigation cases in state and federal courts throughout the country. 
 
Mr. Charapp represents and advises business clients, including over 200 automobile dealers and several automobile dealer trade associations.  He is a founding board member and past president of the National Association of Dealer Counsel and co-author of Auto Dealer Law:  the Definitive Legal Guide to the Purchase, Sale and Operation of Vehicle Dealerships available at www.autodealerlaw.com.
